  • 4 Large Granny Smith or Honey Crisp Apples Washed and Dried
  • 4 Tsps Lemon Juice 1 per Apple
  • 1/3 Cup Red Cranberries Fresh or Dried
  • 1/2 Cup Red Cherries If frozen completely thawed
  • 1/3 Cup Organic Walnuts Rough Chopped
  • 2 Tbsps Maple or Date Syrup
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Nutmeg Powder
  • 1/8 Tsp Cloves Powder
  • 1/3 Cup Water For Baking Dish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees (175C)
  • Cut off the top of each washed apple set aside
  • Core the apples leaving about a 1/2-inch thickness at the bottom
  • Pour 1 Tsp of lemon juice in each apple
  • In a bowl, Mix together gently the cherries, cranberries, walnuts, maple syrup
  • Stir in Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Cloves to the fruit mixture until combined
  • Stuff each apple with the fruit and nut mixture
  • Place the stuffed apples in the baking dish add the cut of top then add 1/3 cup of water to the bottom of the dish
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the apples are tender
  • Remove from the oven let rest for 10 minutes
  • Serve Warm Lightly dusted with Vanilla Powder
