Affiliate Disclosure

Disclosure Statement

In 2015, the Federal Trade Commission introduced new guidelines to ensure transparency and disclosure compliance within web-based content such as blogs and YouTube videos. These rules are designed to inform readers and viewers about any financial relationships or partnerships between content creators and other companies. This includes whether the blogger or presenter is sponsored, endorsed, or affiliated with another company, and if they may earn compensation through the promotion of products or links.

To uphold the FTC’s guidelines, we kindly request that you make the following assumptions regarding the links and content on this site: All external links on PlantafulLife.com are affiliate links and as a result, we may receive a modest commission for sales of specific products.

When you click on an affiliate link on PlantafulLife.com to purchase an item, the transaction takes place on an external affiliate company’s website, directly with the seller, and not through PlantafulLife.com. Companies like Amazon and others compensate PlantafulLife.com with a small commission or other forms of compensation for their support in promoting their products or websites through their affiliate programs.

Whether you make a purchase through an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link, the price remains the same for you. Clicking through an affiliate link will not result in higher costs to you.

We participate in two primary types of affiliate programs:

PlantafulLife.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to allow websites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon properties, which may include, but are not limited to, amazon.com. Amazon provides a small commission on products sold through their affiliate links.

If a blogger links to an Amazon product with a specific affiliate code embedded in the link, and a reader adds the item to their shopping cart within 24 hours of clicking the link, the blogger receives a small percentage of the sale. It’s important to note that Amazon links do not operate on a “pay per click” basis. If you click on a product link and make other purchases during your Amazon visit, we will also earn a commission on those additional sales.

Whenever you come across a link that appears as astore.com/… or amazon.com…, it can be assumed that it is an Amazon affiliate link.

Product affiliate links function in the same way: if you click on the link and purchase the product, the blogger earns a percentage of the sale or other forms of compensation. This typically applies to items such as e-book bundles, e-courses, and online packages. Like Amazon links, prices remain consistent whether you use these affiliate links, and they are not based on a “pay per click” model unless otherwise specified.

What about sponsored content?

We do not publish sponsored posts. Our aim is to deliver authentic and unbiased information to our readers. However, in the rare event that a post is sponsored by a company and constitutes a paid sponsorship, we will provide clear disclosure at the beginning of the post.
